PRODUCTIVITY TIP FOR MANAGING THE OVERWHELM

You know those weeks where you have so much going on in your personal life AND you're also feeling super inspired and ready to share all of your services with the world, and together your mind just spins and spins!? Yeah, that's me this week. 

My solution? A list. I know, sounds obvious and boring. But hear me out. 

Managing the overwhelm. Productivity tip for business owners.

This virgo looooves lists. I make them often. I use a bullet journal as my go-to + my google calendar. But on days like this, I go old school to a post it. And I write the top 3 things I need to do today. And ignore almost everything else until those are done. 

If I still can't focus, I set an alarm and commit to working on task #1 for a set amount of time – usually 20 minutes. 

You can do almost anything for 20 minutes, right?! And you can get quite a lot done in a focused 20 minutes. Once you're there, if you find yourself in flow, you can keep going. And if you're not, you get to stop after 20, but by then you've already done a chunk. Works wonders.
