SQUARESPACE WEBSITE DESIGN
Angela & Stephanie had just opened their new salon, and needed to establish themselves as not only experts in all things hair, but also as the area’s go-to nontoxic salon. The site leads visitors to learn about their services, products and philosophy, while featuring a “book” link in the top nav and footer so it’s easy to schedule an appointment no matter where you are on the site.
They said: “We love our website & get compliments constantly about how nice our site is. We felt a strong website was key for our industry; a good site will be the selling point when a first time client tries you out. Mission accomplished!”
Diane does individual & group fitness training & coaching in the Boston area, with a focus on community & philanthropy. She wanted a new logo that would be more impactful on T-shirts & merchandise for her clients. She has such a positive attitude that I brought into her brand through bright cheery colors.
She also needed a professional website. She had tried to do it herself in the past, but got very frustrated – so she called in reinforcements – me! I created an online home for new clients to learn about her personal training, run coaching, and sign up for her fitness classes.
The goal was to create a site that feels sophisticated, without feeling stuffy. (That's essentially her style in a nutshell.) The site leads the visitor to learn about her services and then contact her to talk about their project.
Courtney said: “I feel proud of my site now! I’m more established, have more credibility, and very happy!”
The goal for the site was to teach people about what The Works is all about, get them excited to take a class & then sign up! We used photos of crafting-in-action, food & drinks, plants, and connection. I created multiple options of the class schedule so that people can choose the view they like best (calendar vs list) — making it easy to see the classes & sign up!
Kellie said: "I'm so proud of the website and I feel like it reflects an excellent first impression that we're putting into the world, plus it's useable for new and existing students."
